A dealership is required to provide registration to you within 90 days. If you pay off your vehicle in full, the lender is required to provide title, or a release, to you within 15 days. If the dealer or lender is unable to provide title or registration, you may have a claim for Breach of Contract, the dealer may have to pay you penalties, and you may have other claims.
